About San Carlos
The touristic zone “San Carlos” of the port of Guaymas, Sonora is
located only 130km from the state capital “Hermosillo” or 1:30 hrs, in
the northern of Mèxico. In just 6 hours will find the borderline Sonora
Arizona with USA. San Carlos is a beauty town distinguishable because
has desert and ocean surronded by mountains. San Carlos was
founded 47 years ago and has around 2,000 residents.
The amazing ocean views of the Sea of Cortez are magnificent, given
to the town a different sparkle with their sunrises and sunsets. We
proudly use to say:If somebody comes for first time, for sure will be
back! The town offer two naturals marinas and one 18 holes golf
course.The diving and fishing in our sea of cortez is really valued.
San Carlos has several hotels and condos, shops, markets and water
sports. Guaymas receive our visitors in the international airport
“General Garcìa yañez” located at 7km. Guaymas is located at 15km.
