About Guaymas, Sonora
Guaymas was founded 240 years ago. Has international airport, receive “the Ferry” and important international Sea Cruises.
Has 130,000 residents.The city has main annual activities like the Carnival and other importants events to advertise their local items and sea food.
Guaymas has is own zone beach named “miramar”, located close to“The Delfinarium Sonora”. In Guaymas you will find too the unique Pearl Factory in all latinamerica with valuable pieces.
Guaymas is a fishing port full of beauty and local tradition. Our people is very proud of be Mexican and Sonoran. Our state is one of the biggest in our country. Our Coat of arms show the mining industry, agriculture, fishing and stockbreeding in every corner, in the center is our dancer with a deer head. This dance is very difficult to do, only is performed by an original boy of the “yaqui” ethnic group. The beautiful of this is that this boy has special trained to act how a deer.

The touristic zone “San Carlos” of the port of Guaymas, Sonora is
located only 130km from the state capital “Hermosillo” or 1:30 hrs, in
the northern of Mèxico. In just 6 hours will find the borderline Sonora
Arizona with USA. San Carlos is a beauty town distinguishable because
has desert and ocean surronded by mountains. San Carlos was
founded 47 years ago and has around 2,000 residents.
The amazing ocean views of the Sea of Cortez are magnificent, given
to the town a different sparkle with their sunrises and sunsets. We
proudly use to say:If somebody comes for first time, for sure will be
back! The town offer two naturals marinas and one 18 holes golf
course.The diving and fishing in our sea of cortez is really valued.
San Carlos has several hotels and condos, shops, markets and water
sports. Guaymas receive our visitors in the international airport
“General Garcìa yañez” located at 7km. Guaymas is located at 15km.
